Belle Unique had the pleasure of creating the design to transform a historic church in Glasgow into a vibrant, modern early years centre. Our team provided comprehensive architectural design, interior design, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) design for this innovative project. The conversion included the introduction of a new mezzanine level and several playrooms catering to children from babies to the 3-5 years age range.

Each playroom features integrated nooks recessed into the space, offering quiet retreat areas that help define different play zones. These nooks also house interactive screens, providing a blend of technology and traditional play. In addition to these serene corners, we included sleeping areas for all age groups to ensure restful breaks throughout the day.

The design also boasts bespoke furniture tailored to the children's needs and a unique slide connecting the first floor to the ground floor, adding an element of fun and adventure. The centre provides easy access to landscaped external play areas, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. With a variety of spaces designed to inspire and nurture, the new early years centre is a place where children can truly love, learn, and grow.
